Washington, DC – November 3, 2025 – #ShareTheMicInCyber and the Cyber Threat Alliance (CTA) today announced the launch of a new threat intelligence focused fellowship: the #ShareTheMicInCyber Catalyst Fellowship for Cyber Intelligence which is designed to elevate diverse voices in cybersecurity while strengthening global cyber defenses. This initiative builds on #ShareTheMicInCyber’s proven record of adapting to meet the community’s needs at each moment and CTA’s leadership in advancing collaborative threat intelligence.

The fellowship will place mid-career cybersecurity professionals alongside CTA’s member firms to co-author the Alliance’s strategic, high-impact intelligence reporting, contribute to industry research, and expand their professional networks through mentorship, workshops, and visibility across CTA and #ShareTheMicInCyber platforms. Fellows will receive stipends, professional development, and career-building opportunities.

“AI is driving tectonic shifts that create extraordinary opportunities while also accelerating and scaling cyber threats. In this environment, innovating in threat intelligence, and connecting it directly to operations and policy, is more important than ever,” said Camille Stewart Gloster, Co-Founder of #ShareTheMicInCyber and CEO of CAS Strategies. “This fellowship gives us the chance to cultivate talent and deepen expertise for mid-career practitioners, ensuring the sector has the skilled, diverse leaders it needs to navigate a rapidly evolving threat landscape.”

“Early in my career as an intelligence analyst, I learned how critical it is to have the right training, mentorship, and opportunities to apply analytic skills toward disrupting threats,” said Lauren Zabierek, Co-Founder of #ShareTheMicInCyber. “Our first fellowship at New America proved the power of diverse voices in cybersecurity—fellows produced groundbreaking work that influenced both policy and practice. With the Cyber Threat Alliance, we’re building on that success by giving mid-career professionals the chance to contribute directly to high-impact threat intelligence that informs global operations.”

“Cyber adversaries are constantly innovating—and AI is only accelerating that pace. To keep up, we must expand the perspectives and expertise that shape our threat intelligence. That has always been CTA’s mandate,” said Michael Daniel, President & CEO of the Cyber Threat Alliance. “This fellowship strengthens our analytic output and builds a more diverse, resilient, and prepared cybersecurity workforce ready to meet the challenges of an evolving digital battlefield.”

The program is led by #ShareTheMicInCyber and CTA, with support from a council of expert advisors as well as CAS Strategies and other sponsors and partners. The first cohort will launch in 2026, with applications opening later this year.

#ShareTheMicInCyber and CTA also thanked New America–with special thanks to Peter Singer and Bridget Chan for housing the first #ShareTheMicInCyber Fellowship for three years, which laid the foundation for this next chapter by demonstrating the impact of diverse voices on policy, research, and practice.
